Job Overview

As a Project Engineer - Construction Specialist, you will play a key role in driving project success by effectively prioritizing and managing project engineering workload, applying innovative problem-solving skills and critical thinking to daily tasks.

About the Role
  • Lead project engineering activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective project plans, identifying and mitigating risks related to schedule, labor, materials, and installation.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, resource allocation plans, and procurement/submittal processes to meet project objectives.
  • Work closely with our field leaders to execute work at a high level, ensuring quality of work in place and participating in the GLY QA/QC program.
  • Communicate project needs and progress to stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, consultants, and team members.
Key Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Construction Management or Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Structural, etc.) or related field of study.
  • 2 or more years project engineering experience with a General Contractor that self-performs work; relevant military and/or intern experience counts.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, and Auto-CAD required; knowledge of REVIT, Sketch-Up, and On-screen Take-Off, PlanGrid, Smartsheet, and Enterprise Resource Planning software (e.g. CMiC) a plus.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn and openness to new ideas.
What We Offer
