About the Role

As an MRI Technologist at Medical City Arlington, you will play a vital role in our diagnostic imaging team. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform magnetic resonance assessments and reassessments, implementing patient orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Position and prepare patients for exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
  • Transport patients as needed, maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
  • Explain procedures to patients, addressing their concerns and providing reassurance.
  • Operate stationary and portable equipment, including MRI machines, with precision and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • A current license as an MRI Tech by ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) is required.
  • A current Healthcare Provider BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is also required.
  • A degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology is necessary.
  • State registration as a Radiologic Technician is also required.
  • Experience in performing all MRI procedures is essential.
  • A minimum of two years' experience as an MRI Technologist is preferred.
