Role Summary:

We are in search of a dedicated IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Manager to enhance our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in aiding clients to navigate and mitigate risks associated with information technology while ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and industry standards.

The IT GRC Manager will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert consultation to clients in the formulation and execution of IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Conducting thorough risk evaluations to uncover potential vulnerabilities and deficiencies in IT systems, processes, and controls.
  • Collaborating with clients to devise risk mitigation strategies and action plans that align with industry best practices and regulatory mandates.
  • Assisting in the design and deployment of robust IT controls and monitoring systems to guarantee compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Performing regular audits and evaluations of IT infrastructure, systems, and processes to assess compliance levels and identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Keeping informed about emerging industry trends, regulatory shifts, and security threats to proactively evaluate their implications on clients' IT GRC initiatives.
  • Offering recommendations for remediation and enhancement based on findings from risk assessments and established best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in conducting training and awareness programs for client personnel to improve understanding and compliance with IT governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and compliance departments, to ensure the effective integration of IT GRC initiatives.
  • Maintained comprehensive documentation, including risk assessment reports, control frameworks, policies, and procedures.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in IT GRC consulting or a comparable role.
  • Experience in a transformation or technology consulting environment.
  • A deep understanding of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and other relevant standards.
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and tools, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and threat modeling.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, or SOX.
  • Experience in conducting IT audits, control assessments, and developing remediation strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on effectively identifying and addressing risks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or equivalent ISACA certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience supporting financial services or insurance organizations is highly valued.
