Key Responsibilities:

As a Sales Support Specialist at nVent, you will play a critical role in maintaining and closing open quotes, following up on leads, and coordinating customer satisfaction surveys. You will also be responsible for maintaining databases, performing order audits, and collaborating with outside sales and manufacturing reps to follow up on open quotes. Additionally, you will process requests for company information, such as reps and certifications, and provide periodic status updates for open quotes. You will analyze and share quote status, and present customer survey data with charts and graphs highlighting key business indicators.

Requirements:

We are looking for an Associate's degree or equivalent work experience, ideally 3+ years of sales support, data support, or customer service support working for a manufacturer or distributor. You should have advanced knowledge of customer service principles and practices, including those related to manufacturing processes and the environment. You should also have skills in using automated information systems to research and analyze accumulated data, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and Salesforce. You should be able to identify root causes of problems/issues by asking probing questions to aid in developing recommendations for resolution, and demonstrate skill in leading multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced team environment. You should also be able to build and maintain effective work relationships, applying strong written and verbal communication skills, while working with people at all levels within and outside the organization.
