Job Description

At At Home Stores LLC, we are seeking a Seasonal Team Member to support our stores during busier times. This temporary position plays a crucial role in maintaining an active selling culture by ensuring all operational, front-end, freight, and merchandising processes are held to documented company standards designed to drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The Seasonal Team Member maintains a positive attitude, works with a sense of urgency, and executes all company directives, policies, and procedures accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
  • Contributes to a customer-focused environment while providing excellent customer service.
  • Performs cashier and front-end duties as assigned, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and efficiently while providing customers with a positive shopping experience.
  • Unloads, processes, and stocks freight within the correct location while following all store merchandising guidelines.
  • Performs Store recovery, conditioning, and housekeeping tasks as assigned inside and outside the building.
  • Completes the daily/weekly workload and tasks as assigned and ensures all tasks are completed efficiently and on-time.
  • Actively impacts and participates in the areas of customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, and loss prevention so the store will operate effectively and profitably.

Qualifications & Competencies:
  • At least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent.
  • Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal and comprehension skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. or team lift 100 lbs.
  • Reliable and trustworthy with ethical and honest behavior.
  • Flexible and creative with an ability to handle multiple tasks where priorities shift with the demands of the business.
