Role Summary: This position offers management support to both new and existing SSC accounts within educational settings, including K-12 and higher education. The role requires significant travel, including overnight stays, and candidates should be open to relocation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Standard Setting: Develop and assess operational standards and procedures in line with facility policies to ensure excellence in service delivery.
- Strategic Planning: Organize work schedules and job responsibilities to optimize service efficiency across all departments.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, assess, and mentor facility staff, promoting a positive work culture and maintaining high performance standards.
- Facility Inspections: Perform regular inspections of facilities, recommend improvements, and facilitate seamless transitions within the organization.
- Collaboration: Lead regular staff meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination with other departments.
- Project Management: Oversee major projects, ensuring adequate staffing and resources are available for successful implementation.
- Resource Management: Conduct inventory assessments and assist in budget management alongside the department director.
- Flexibility: Adapt to additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating versatility in the role.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of four years in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance, with at least one year in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Attributes: Strong work ethic, commitment to quality and customer service, and a proactive approach to achieving success.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Administrative Skills: Proficient in administrative tasks and organizational skills, with a strong command of MS Office applications.
- Education: An Associate's degree is preferred.
- License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for the operation of company vehicles.
