About the Role

This is a rewarding position for a skilled and compassionate nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. As a Clinical Nurse II in General Surgery Trauma, you will work closely with our experienced nursing team to provide direct patient care, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, and document treatment plans.

You will also be responsible for ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions. Your sound nursing judgment will be essential in managing patient care decisions, and your excellent communication skills will enable you to collaborate effectively with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements
  • A graduate of a professional academic nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree) and current NYS Registered Nurse license
  • Minimum 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Possesses knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques
