Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrialization Engineer for PCBA Development to join our team at Tesla. As a key member of our Supplier Industrialization team, you will be responsible for driving critical component development and qualification activities with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process development specific to optical inspection systems
  • Conduct and implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback into our design
  • Monitor Suppliers On Time Delivery performance, Supplier Quality Performance, and Supplier Production Capacity
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong process development experience related to optical inspection, ideally related to PCBA and/or SMT manufacturing process
  • Practical experience of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design For Assembly (DFA)
  • Practical 6 sigma experience
  • Solid knowledge of statistical applications
  • Mechanical background with statistical tolerance analysis
  • PCBA manufacturing process background with practical experience (SMT and Thru Hole)
  • Experience on AIAG Core Tools
  • Strong understanding of IATF16949
  • Supplier development and management experience

Expected Compensation

$80,000 - $300,000/annual salary, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits
