Senior Industrialization Engineer for PCBA Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrialization Engineer for PCBA Development to join our team at Tesla. As a key member of our Supplier Industrialization team, you will be responsible for driving critical component development and qualification activities with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement process development specific to optical inspection systems
- Conduct and implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback into our design
- Monitor Suppliers On Time Delivery performance, Supplier Quality Performance, and Supplier Production Capacity
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong process development experience related to optical inspection, ideally related to PCBA and/or SMT manufacturing process
- Practical experience of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design For Assembly (DFA)
- Practical 6 sigma experience
- Solid knowledge of statistical applications
- Mechanical background with statistical tolerance analysis
- PCBA manufacturing process background with practical experience (SMT and Thru Hole)
- Experience on AIAG Core Tools
- Strong understanding of IATF16949
- Supplier development and management experience
