Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Therapist to provide speech and language services to students in the local community on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language skills, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to help students achieve their communication objectives, utilizing evidence-based practices and strategies.
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in small groups, adapting interventions to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to support students' academic and social growth, ensuring a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and adjust intervention strategies based on students' progress, making data-driven decisions to enhance outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program meetings and team discussions, contributing to the development of comprehensive education plans.
  • Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology, applying new knowledge and skills to improve student outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  • Active licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech and Language Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or eligibility to obtain.
  • Experience in educational settings is preferred, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of students with communication disorders.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
