Job Summary:
Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services to students in an educational setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology and experience working with students in educational settings.
Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
- Therapy Services: Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in small group settings.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor students' progress and adapt intervention strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, progress reports, and billing records.
- Professional Development: Stay informed about current trends, best practices, and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
- Licensure: Active licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain.
- Experience: Experience working with students in educational settings is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
