Clinical Social Worker

As a Clinical Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting clinical assessments, providing information and short-term therapeutic counseling to patients and their families, and assisting in the identification of barriers to care.
You will also provide cancer support resources to patients and their families, and perform duties in a manner that projects a positive image of the department and hospital.
Required qualifications include a Master's degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, and strong interpersonal communication skills and problem assessment abilities.
Exposure to airborne pathogens requires the use of protective equipment, and some evening working hours may be required due to support group meetings.
Frequent walking, standing, and sitting throughout the shift, with occasional lifting of patients with assistance.
