Job Summary

Talbots is a leading omni-channel specialty retailer of women's clothing, shoes, and accessories. We're seeking an experienced Associate Brand Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales and store operations team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the sales and store operations teams to achieve business objectives and improve store performance.
  • Stay up-to-date on fashion trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales and inventory decisions.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, store operations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving store performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Provide exceptional and meaningful customer service experiences that promote the product and build brand loyalty. Reinforce consistent selling and service standards through coaching, training, and accountability. Support all areas of operational excellence, including the management of inventory, execution of floorsets, filling orders, recalls, recovery, replenishment, re-tickets, etc. Understand the appropriate balance needed between operational and selling energy and ensure proper planning/scheduling and prioritizing tasks and responsibilities to meet the needs of the business. Maintain knowledge of business and competitive landscape, fashion trends, and key business drivers to strategically identify opportunities that will maximize sales and ensure financial goals are achieved. Ensure compliance of all company policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal employment laws.
