In the role of HVAC Warehouse Associate, you will be integral to the daily functions of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will encompass inventory management, order preparation, and ensuring that our technicians are equipped with the necessary materials to perform their tasks effectively. This position is well-suited for individuals who are organized, industrious, and possess a genuine interest in the HVAC field.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Receive, evaluate, and store HVAC components, tools, and materials.
  • Precisely select and prepare orders for technicians and clients.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized warehouse setting.
  • Track inventory levels and liaise with the purchasing team to replenish stock as required.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of deliveries.
  • Ensure accurate labeling and storage of items.
  • Safely and efficiently operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and update records accordingly.
  • Help maintain precise documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Support HVAC technicians with parts requests and other warehouse-related tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a warehouse or comparable setting is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC components and tools is advantageous.
  • Capability to lift and transport heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
  • Proficient in warehouse management software and basic computer applications.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to pursue certification.
  • Dependable and punctual with a robust work ethic.
