Job Summary:

The HSE Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to health, safety, and environmental matters. This includes conducting audits, inspections, and investigations to identify and mitigate workplace hazards. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with branch employees and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and implement HSE training programs to ensure employees meet all training and competency requirements
  • Collaborate with branch management and employees to identify and mitigate workplace hazards
  • Maintain accurate records and metrics to report to onsite management teams and corporate reporting systems
  • Communicate corporate initiatives and directives to branch locations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, and Environmental-related field or 5-7 years of proven successful employment in the service field
  • 2+ years of job experience in the Safety and Environmental field preferred
  • Advanced working knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations (Federal, State, and Local levels)
  • Self-motivator with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Team player with a strong commitment to the HSE profession
