Radiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Physician to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans, and conducting thorough medical examinations and histories.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care:
- Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories to inform diagnosis and treatment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Communication:
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Provide clear and concise medical information to patients and families.
- Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records to ensure continuity of care.
- Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans to inform future care.
- Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
- Diagnostic Procedures:
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, to inform diagnosis and treatment.
- Perform procedures as needed to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
- Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to inform care decisions.
- Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Quality Improvement:
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Review and analyze clinical outcomes to inform quality improvement initiatives.
- Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Compliance:
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices to inform care decisions.
- Participate in ongoing medical education and training to enhance clinical skills.
- Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines to inform care decisions.
- American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
- A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible
$267.67 - $281.05 /hour
