Electrical Controls Engineer Opportunity

Location: Remote work available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical and control systems utilizing AutoCAD
  • Create layouts and designs for electrical panels, motor controls, and system controls
  • Possess knowledge of UL508A Standards
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motion control systems, safety systems, instrumentation, and process controls
  • Install, maintain, and program both new and existing AC and DC drives and legacy PLC systems
  • Diagnose control system problems and provide support for existing client applications
  • Develop control system programming for SCADA, HMI, and PLC
  • Collaborate with clients and engineers in various disciplines
  • Conduct plant check-out, commissioning, and start-up services at client locations
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30%-40% of the time, with weekends at home

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in developing integrated control system solutions for manufacturing
  • 1-3 years of experience in HMI programming with systems such as Allen Bradley/Rockwell
  • 1-3 years of experience in PLC programming with systems like Allen Bradley/Rockwell RSLogix
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
