Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Assistant to join our team at the Naval Education and Training Command. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting the recruitment and hiring process for our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance to personnel on HR policies and procedures, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize automated systems to perform administrative HR support functions, including reviewing personnel information for discrepancies and preparing reports and briefings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-04 grade level or equivalent in the Federal service or private/public sector. Your resume must demonstrate the following skills:

  • Maintaining personnel records to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Providing guidance to personnel on HR policies and procedures.
  • Utilizing automated systems to perform administrative HR support functions.

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with a combination of education and experience. A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
