The Role

This position is field-based, supporting Abbott's Vascular division, which is known for its innovative and cost-effective solutions for vascular diseases. Our product portfolio includes drug-eluting stents, guide wires, balloon dilatation catheters, imaging catheters, vessel closure devices, and more.

We are currently seeking a Clinical Specialist for Vessel Closure. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Case planning and support coverage throughout the designated territory.
  • Promoting Vascular products through education and training in hospital settings.
  • Providing clinical education and sales support to meet sales objectives and enhance market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical expert for procedures and products during case coverage in hospitals.
  • Engage with Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and hospital staff to support the Vessel Closure product line.
  • Identify clinical needs and goals of existing and potential customers, demonstrating how our products can meet those needs.
  • Build relationships with hospital personnel and identify key decision-makers.
  • Deliver in-service education and support for company products, utilizing various presentation formats.
  • Attend clinical procedures in relevant medical settings to ensure successful outcomes with our products.
  • Address customer inquiries and issues by collaborating with internal teams to develop effective solutions.
  • Provide support across the broader region as required.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned region.

Preferred:

  • Experience interacting with patients in a clinical environment.
  • Relevant technical certification.
