Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at PT Solutions Physical Therapy. As an Inpatient/Acute Care Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in evaluating and treating patients with a range of medical diagnoses, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, head and neck cancer, and progressive neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with a diagnosis of stroke, traumatic brain injury, head and neck cancer, and progressive neurological conditions.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to facilitate return home or to the next level of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospital staff, including physicians, case management, nurses, social workers, and dietitians.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • State licensure in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Clinical experience in an inpatient or acute care setting.
  • Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
