About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Specialist to join our team at Addiction Recovery Care, LLC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional client care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take vital signs on clients daily and maintain accurate records
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company, state, federal, and HIPAA regulations
  • Chart client information for insurance purposes and ensure accurate documentation
  • Supervise clients for extended periods and monitor their activities, groups, and chore lists
  • Ensure a safe environment and maintain a positive, professional attitude towards clients, staff, and volunteers
  • Handle crisis situations in a calm and supportive manner
  • Transport clients to various appointments and complete drug screening as needed
  • Act as a liaison between client care teams, medical staff, admission staff, nursing staff, and clinical staff
  • Assist and support medical, admission, nursing, and clinical staff to ensure seamless transitions for clients
  • Work closely with the Nurse Practitioner to ensure the health and safety of clients
  • Administer medication to clients as directed and perform follow-ups with referral sources as needed
  • Demonstrate punctuality, organization, and proficiency in all areas of scheduling, filing, meetings, and client relations
  • Orientate clients on admission and ensure confidentiality in compliance with 42CFR, Part 2
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Availability to work evening, overnight, and/or weekend shifts
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and stay on schedule
  • Ability to enforce program requirements and complete reports
  • Knowledge of addictions and mental health complications
  • Knowledge of the 12-Step Recovery Program
  • Knowledge and competency in problem-solving, stress management, ethics, and team building
  • Knowledge of emergency procedures and ability to determine if a medical emergency exists
