We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Phone Triage Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for providing support to patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless coordination of ongoing medical care.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and document all incoming clinical inquiries, including urgent patient calls and pharmacy-related queries, to facilitate optimal patient care.
  • Relay information from healthcare providers to patients as instructed.
  • Record messages in patient records as necessary.
  • Process new, renewal, and refill prescriptions through the electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring accuracy in prior patient medications.
  • Adhere to compliance standards and complete required training.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical or complex scheduling experience is preferred.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is advantageous.
