About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Healthcare Specialist to join our team at Addiction Recovery Care, LLC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional client care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take vital signs and monitor client health on a daily basis
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company, state, federal, and HIPAA regulations
  • Chart client information for insurance purposes and ensure accurate documentation
  • Supervise clients for extended periods and ensure their safety and well-being
  • Monitor client activities, groups, and chore lists, and make necessary adjustments
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, staff, and volunteers
  • Respond to crisis situations in a calm and supportive manner
  • Transport clients to various appointments and ensure timely arrival
  • Administer medication as directed by medical staff
  • Perform follow-up tasks with clients and referral sources as directed by supervisors
  • Ensure client confidentiality and adhere to 42CFR, Part 2 regulations
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Availability to work evening, overnight, and/or weekend shifts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of addictions and mental health complications
  • Knowledge of the 12-Step Recovery Program
  • Ability to determine medical emergencies and take appropriate action
  • Knowledge of emergency procedures for alcohol and drug overdoses
