Role Overview:

This part-time, salaried position is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly emptying waste bins throughout the facility
  • Managing waste disposal by placing trash at the curb for collection
  • Thoroughly cleaning and restocking restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors
  • Alerting the administrative team when supplies are running low
  • Vacuuming and mopping both carpeted and non-carpeted areas
  • Cleaning window sills, blinds, radiators, pews, and other surfaces as required

Work Schedule: This role requires approximately 20 hours per week, with the schedule primarily determined by the employee in collaboration with leadership.

Reporting Structure: The Facility Maintenance Coordinator will report to the leadership team and will participate in annual performance reviews.

Compensation: The annual salary for this position is $12,500.

Additional Requirements:

Health Clearance: A medical certificate confirming a negative PPD test is mandatory at the commencement of employment.

Background Checks: Employees must undergo criminal background and child abuse clearance checks every five years, with costs covered by the organization.

Health Benefits: Salary remains unaffected by short-term illnesses, with longer-term illness compensation subject to negotiation.

Unemployment Policy: As a non-profit entity, the organization does not engage in federal or state unemployment programs.
