Position Overview

SkyHop Global stands as a leading provider in ground transportation services tailored for airline personnel. Our mission is to ensure seamless transit for pilots and flight attendants during their layovers across various locations. The core responsibility of this role is to oversee, coordinate, and schedule a team of drivers in alignment with airline timetables.

Note: Depending on the size of the location, the role may require being in the field for 50-75% of the scheduled hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily operations of a team of drivers, optimizing cost-efficiency while enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance and support to drivers, focusing on process enhancements, team cohesion, coaching, and constructive feedback.
  • Assist in controlling overtime, limiting it to emergency scenarios only.
  • Collaborate with the Station Manager in the following areas: recruiting, interviewing, selecting, training, motivating, coaching, and mentoring transport drivers.
  • Oversee the routine maintenance checks of fleet vehicles, including daily inspections and scheduling maintenance, while communicating any issues to the Fleet Manager as needed.
  • Encourage safe working practices by conducting safety audits, leading regular safety meetings, and engaging with individual team members.
Additional Duties:
  • Support the Station Manager in managing local permits and vehicle registrations, ensuring timely communication with finance for renewals.
  • Foster positive professional relationships with airport ground transportation services and attend necessary meetings.
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed promptly and adhere to company policies and protocols.
