Position Overview:

The Sales Associate/Stocker at CNRG - Buck's is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing informed product recommendations.


Customer Engagement:

Welcome every customer with a friendly smile and a greeting. Ask open-ended questions like, "How can I assist you today?" to better understand their requirements. Listen carefully to customer inquiries and guide them to the right products, enhancing their shopping experience.

Utilize your product knowledge to build customer confidence and offer technical assistance related to product selection, usage, and installation.

Handle sales counter operations including order entry, special requests, and price inquiries. Respond to phone calls from customers courteously, ensuring they receive the information they need.

Merchandise products effectively on shelves according to established guidelines, and suggest new products to management based on customer feedback.

Process sales orders accurately using the point of sale systems to ensure timely and correct fulfillment by suppliers.

Assist in inventory management by participating in cycle counts and stocking shelves as needed. Maintain an organized and tidy sales area to promote a positive shopping environment.

Keep customers informed about new products and store promotions, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere.


Safety and Security:

Maintain a solid understanding of company security protocols and be vigilant in recognizing potential theft or fraud. Report any suspicious activities to management promptly.

Adhere to safety guidelines and participate in regular safety meetings to promote a secure working environment.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the store.

This position is hourly and non-exempt from overtime. While there may be opportunities for advancement, this role does not guarantee career progression.
