Job Summary

Our Surgical Pathology division operates under a subspecialty model, offering a unique opportunity for a Renal Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will sign out renal pathology cases, contribute to our teaching mission, and collaborate on translational research projects.

Responsibilities
  • Sign out renal pathology cases with expertise and accuracy
  • Contribute to the teaching mission of the department, including medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Collaborate on translational research projects with the vibrant transplant and nephrology community on campus
  • Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health
Qualifications
  • Completion of Renal Pathology Fellowship is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of renal pathology sign out experience will also be considered in lieu of fellowship completion
  • Candidates for Associate Professor and Professor (CHS) rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the CHS track
Education

Terminal Degree (MD or DO or equivalent) is required

License/Certification

Unrestricted WI Medical License is required by start date
