**Job Summary:**

ECHN seeks a skilled Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care and support.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide direct and indirect clinical services to adults in need of mental health care, ensuring the delivery of age-appropriate care and treatment.
  • Conduct crisis assessments, intake assessments, individual therapy sessions, group therapy, family therapy, treatment planning, case management, and triage/discharge planning with precision and compassion.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community providers to facilitate effective treatment plans and ensure seamless transitions for patients.
  • Develop and maintain accurate clinical records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, adhering to JCAHO and managed care standards.
  • Promote a culture of respect, empathy, and warmth, fostering strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues alike.

**Requirements:**

  • Masters degree from an accredited institution and licensure as a LCSW, LADC, LPC, or LMFT in Connecticut.
  • Excellent clinical skills, with experience in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), abuse and neglect reporting, and pre-authorization processes preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook, and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Familiarity with community-based resources and knowledge of adult ambulatory behavioral health services essential.

**Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
