Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide support to our therapists in implementing educational activities and non-skilled tasks that support therapy delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Assist therapists with implementing educational activities and non-skilled tasks that support therapy delivery.
  • Assist in setup and preparation of materials and equipment needed for therapy sessions.
  • Provide educational activities to individual or small groups of students under the guidance of a certified staff member.
  • Support therapists during sessions to assist with engagement and provide direct physical assistance with clients.
  • Communicate with therapists to assist with needs throughout therapy sessions.
Requirements
  • Frequently required to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to thirty (30) pounds.
  • Ability to leverage multiple components on a computer to maximize productivity.

This is a 1099 Contract position. The role demands high flexibility and adaptability to cater to the clinic's dynamic needs. Availability is Monday-Friday, Full-Time 40 hours (times can be a little flexible). This position will be at our Leawood clinic.
