Job Summary

The Imaging Assistant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and image distribution for Outpatient Radiology. This includes copying, mailing, and delivery of images in a timely and organized manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and process admission documents, including order entry.
  • Respond to patients, physicians, and others by telephone and face-to-face to process requests for images and reports.
  • Handle subpoenas for images and reports.
  • Act as a liaison for staff, outside agencies, vendors, physicians, corporate/division staff, and other departments within the facility.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Radiology Program.
  • One year of related experience in all aspects of Diagnostic Radiology.
  • BCLS required.
