Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and project estimation services to ensure successful project execution.
  • Review conceptual documents, vendor information, and design EI packages to identify constructability issues during all phases of engineering.
  • Obtain proper approval and document all work, including change orders, before commencing work.
  • Establish clear deliverables at the beginning of each project, including turnover packages, quality documents, schedules, cost meetings, and as-builts.
  • Collaborate with clients and contractors to develop accurate, professional schedules, including task lists, durations, and sequencing information.
  • Work with clients and contractors to ensure scope clarity and estimate reasonableness.
  • Coordinate site orientation with Fluor Safety and verify proper Chemical Clearance before bringing chemicals on site.
  • Generate complete, accurate, and timely RFA (Request for Action) with clear scope, start and end dates, and attachments.
  • Develop overall project sourcing plans and execution strategies.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings to describe scope in detail and answer questions.
  • Organize and run daily huddles and execution meetings.
  • Monitor work in the field for progress, performance, quality, safety, and special requirements.
  • Approve timesheets and invoices, verifying work was performed and charged correctly.
  • Actively participate in cost and schedule meetings, keeping clients informed.
  • Ensure plant permits are thoroughly understood by contractors and used/issued properly.
  • Work with clients and contractors to develop downtime schedules and establish construction work areas.
  • Meet client needs within company guidelines.
  • Keep work areas clean, neat, and organized.
  • Coordinate completion of construction activities for turnover, preparing and tracking punch lists and/or exception lists.
  • Prepare and submit turnover packages at the end of each project.
  • Maintain good project files, keeping documentation neat and orderly.
  • Ensure contractors understand and follow site standards and policies, including security and auditing procedures.
  • Promote the importance of safety, reviewing and signing STA's to ensure compliance with site safety rules.
  • Participate in site safety audits.
