Billing Operations Manager

This role is responsible for leading and managing the billing operations of Root Center. As a strong manager with the ability to prioritize and plan on behalf of the department, you'll motivate and supervise a team of Claims and Billing Specialists. You'll implement and enforce policies and procedures, as well as streamline effective billing processes across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in Medicaid, Commercial, and Medicare documentation, coding, and billing. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and streamlining billing processes
- Planning and implementing quality assurance for all processes
- Developing and supervising a team of billing professionals
- Using statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports
- Overseeing the revenue cycle and ensuring timely payment from payers
- Knowledge of ICD10 codes and CPT codes for professional fee billing
- Collaborating and communicating with front-end staff, operations, finance, and administration
- Serving as a designated billing representative at agency meetings and trainings as needed
- Monitoring billing-related regulations and implementing required changes
- Researching new billing opportunities and maintaining a fee schedule
