Senior Business Operations Manager for Long Term Care

About This Role:


iCare Health Network is seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Business Operations Manager for its Long Term Care facilities. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Accounts Receivable and collections functions, providing guidance and leadership to business office staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the business office.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Ensure monthly AR reviews are completed on a timely basis and communicate major cases to the VP of Revenue Cycle Management
  • Provide training and support to business office staff
  • Offer backup support during business office vacancies
  • Conduct resident trust audits
  • Maintain and reduce write-off levels
  • Maintain an ongoing list of Medi-Cal pending and status cases, following up with Skilled Nursing Facilities monthly
  • Monitor the collection process
  • Audit and review standardized tracking systems
  • Attend facility Social Security audits
  • Assist with HMS audit data
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications:



  • Working knowledge of various software programs
  • Experience in long term care business office functions
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing procedures
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
  • Highly organized with strong verbal and written communication skills
