As an Insurance Education & Sales Consultant, you will contribute to the growth of a local Allstate agency by connecting with new prospects and fostering strong community relationships. Your expertise in insurance and sales will enhance customers' understanding of the value of insurance, while nurturing long-term relationships through trusted guidance.


You will assist clients in making informed insurance purchases and update existing clients on their insurance needs. Incoming inquiries from consumers actively seeking insurance will be part of your responsibilities, where you will provide insights into their options and help them manage their budgets effectively. If an Allstate product does not align with a client's requirements, you will have the flexibility to recommend offerings from partnered companies. Serve your community by helping them navigate life's uncertainties and educate potential clients on safeguarding their families and assets, ensuring a positive customer experience.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet sales targets by generating new business and cross-selling to existing clients
  • Identify and qualify sales leads from various sources
  • Assist clients in protecting their interests by recommending suitable products
  • Support your community in preparing for life's uncertainties
  • Educate potential clients on how to secure their families and assets
  • Collaborate with mortgage lenders, realtors, and business owners to address insurance needs
  • Engage in community volunteerism, marketing, and events
  • Deliver a positive customer experience
Qualifications:
  • Strong interest in pursuing a sales career; prior sales experience is advantageous
  • No prior insurance experience is necessary
  • Willingness to obtain required Property and Casualty and/or Life and Health licenses upon hiring (existing licenses are a plus)
  • Confident and motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficient in using computers with multiple applications, including quoting systems and Microsoft Office
  • Punctuality for scheduled hours
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and follow up effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and explain insurance concepts clearly.
