Job Summary

The Salon Director in Training is a key role at Sun Tan City, responsible for driving store performance, fostering superior client service, and maintaining operational excellence. This individual will manage and supervise Tanning Consultants to achieve company goals and lead by example in all company operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
  • Client Experience: Lead by example in creating a client-centric experience, meeting personal sales expectations, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Team Management: Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members, provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve daily performance, and generate sales reports and maintain inventory.
  • Financial Management: Assist the Salon Director in controlling top line revenue and expenses, and help maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service while controlling labor costs.
Requirements
  • Management Experience: Management and/or sales experience required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Beauty industry and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor, and team building skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple situations simultaneously, and problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment, lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes, and perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
Compensation

$16.00 per hour
