As an Insurance Sales and Education Specialist, you will contribute to the growth of a local Allstate agency by engaging with new prospects and fostering strong community relationships. Your expertise in insurance and sales will help enhance customers' understanding of the value of insurance while building long-term relationships through trusted advice.
You will assist clients in purchasing insurance and updating their existing coverage. You will handle inquiries from consumers actively seeking insurance options, providing them with the information they need to make informed decisions while staying within their budget. If an Allstate product does not meet a client's needs, you will have the opportunity to offer alternatives from brokered companies. Your role will involve serving the local community by helping them prepare for life's uncertainties and educating potential customers on how to safeguard their families and assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet sales targets by generating new business and cross-selling to existing clients
- Identify and qualify sales leads from various sources
- Assist clients in protecting their interests by recommending suitable products
- Support the community in preparing for unforeseen events
- Educate potential customers on family and asset protection
- Collaborate with mortgage lenders, realtors, and business owners on insurance needs

Qualifications:
- Strong interest in pursuing a sales career; prior sales experience is a plus
- No prior insurance experience necessary
- Willingness to obtain required Property and Casualty and/or Life and Health licenses upon hiring (existing licenses are advantageous)
- Confident and motivated individual who excels both independently and in team settings
- Proficient in using computers with multiple applications, including quoting systems and Microsoft Office
- Punctuality for scheduled hours
- Able to manage multiple tasks and follow through effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and explain insurance concepts clearly.
