Position: Respiratory Therapist - Full Time - Nights

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

The Respiratory Therapist (RT) will operate on a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on the assessment, treatment, and management of patients with respiratory issues across all age groups. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and interpersonal skills, excel in a collaborative team environment, and possess the ability to work autonomously. We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer comprehensive respiratory therapy services in various patient care settings.
  • Expertise in mechanical ventilation, non-invasive positive pressure ventilation (NIPPV), patient evaluation, tracheostomy management, high-flow oxygen therapy, airway maintenance, patient education, arterial blood gas (ABG) collection, and outpatient respiratory interventions.
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and communicate effectively with nursing staff and healthcare providers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  • Engage actively in the development of patient treatment plans and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Maintain a positive demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care, acting as a resource for colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Experience: Open to both new graduates and seasoned professionals
  • Licensure: Valid New York State Respiratory Therapist License
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP

Work Environment:

  • Onsite position

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $38.00 to $48.00
