Job Summary

Cayuga Health System is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including evaluation, treatment, and education
  • Conduct sleep studies, including in-center and home sleep apnea testing
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address sleep disorders
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Associate degree in sleep technology and/or respiratory therapy emphasis in sleep technology
  • Current certification by a nationally recognized certification board (RST, RPSGT, or SDS)
  • Current licensure in the State of New York
  • Current BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience as a registered technologist
