About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned professional to drive the development of Cancer Service Line Intelligence products, publications, and solutions for our providers. As a key member of our team, you'll leverage your expertise in healthcare trends, emerging clinical developments, and market forces to shape the future of cancer Service Line care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing solid knowledge of healthcare trends and the changing landscape of cancer services to inform strategic decisions and craft plans for this key service line.
  • Develop thought leadership deliverables, including expert posts, briefings, and publications, provider presentations, webinars, and podcasts, to support the use and development of our analytic tools.
  • Collaborate with our Service team to address client pain points related to their cancer strategy, providing expert onsite and virtual presentations, calls, and service requests, meeting facilitation, and analytic insights.
  • Translate Cancer Service Line knowledge and healthcare trends to inform the annual update to our analytics tools, including the Impact of Change Demand Forecasting Model.
  • Participate in consulting engagements as a subject matter expert as needed.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree preferred; advanced degree in clinical services, biological/biomedical sciences, economics, or health or business administration strongly preferred.
  • 7 or more years of experience in a hospital health system, consulting firm, or health care-related company with a focus on cancer services, orthopedics, spine, or related clinical area required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to synthesize research and interviews into healthcare strategy recommendations, frameworks, and project proposals required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including ability to create documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks, is required; experience with MS Power BI preferred.
  • Creativity, curiosity, drive, initiative, resourcefulness, and an entrepreneurial spirit are required.
What We Offer

We provide a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive salary range of $117,600.00 to $194,200.00. This position is also incentive eligible. Vizient is an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
