Job Title: Facilities and Space Management Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities and Space Management Specialist to join our team at LaunchPointPEO. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the comprehensive management of our facilities portfolio, including data management, project management, and reporting on rent analytics, forecasting, and trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rent Management: Identify rent discrepancies, prepare financial reports, and forecast rent schedules using GSA applications.
  • Space Layout and Design: Update space layouts, create construction drawings, and develop space reduction scenarios with AutoCAD.
  • Facility Documentation: Develop and maintain facility factsheets and files in compliance with FPS and DHS naming conventions.
  • Site Visits and Data Analysis: Validate space allocation, layout, and utilization through site visits and analyze space allocation data.
  • Program and Project Management: Assist regional FPS with program management, develop project requirements, and track project progress.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Produce occupancy, utilization, and project reports, create flowcharts and slide decks, and maintain program files.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors for furniture design and installation, and prepare acquisition support documents.
  • Compliance and Oversight: Review floor plans and design drawings for compliance, conduct site visits during construction phases, and ensure project activities comply with FPS and DHS policies.
  • Communication and Coordination: Coordinate office and staff moves, capture project requirements, and provide regular project status updates to management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of six years of experience in Facilities and Space Management analytical and support activities.
  • Minimum of six years of project management experience.
  • Minimum of six years of experience in writing Statements Of Work (SOWs).

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced research and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities.
