Security Systems Technician

Job Summary:

As a Security Systems Technician at Schneider Electric, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and repairing technical products and systems at customer field locations. This role requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing a variety of maintenance and technical support on installed products and equipment
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving malfunctions
  • Determining when products should be upgraded or replaced
  • May provide onsite training for customer support personnel

Requirements:

  • Broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education
  • Proficiency in working with both analog and IP cameras, with the ability to adapt to different brands and graphical user interfaces (GUIs) seamlessly
  • Familiarity with Pelco products for effective utilization in relevant systems
  • Experience with software systems such as Genetech and Honeywell
  • Additional advantage with a background in network systems and related experience
