Job Summary

Active Security Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced security technician to join our team. As a Level 3 Security Installation Expert, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining electronic security systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure security systems, including alarm devices, CCTV, and related equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on security systems.
  • Test and troubleshoot systems to ensure they are operating effectively.
  • Provide training and technical support to clients.
  • Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience related to the job duties of this position.
  • A minimum of four Accredited and/or Manufacturer's Certifications in electronic security systems installation and maintenance.
  • Experience and certification with network-based security systems is preferred.
Working Conditions

The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent prolonged periods of standing, bending, pulling, twisting, reaching, climbing, and standing. The employee may be exposed to weather conditions from 100 degrees to below 0 degrees and exposed to various climates and conditions.

The ideal candidate will be organized and capable of detailed project documentation, quality assurance, and customer service. They will also be able to lead and mentor teams of junior technicians.
