  • Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Médicos de 23 camas

  • Rondas multidisciplinarias para apoyar el cuidado de los pacientes

Resumen del Trabajo:

Como Enfermero Registrado en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Médicos, supervisarás la atención al paciente proporcionada por el equipo de salud utilizando un modelo de práctica profesional. Tus responsabilidades incluyen la evaluación del paciente, el reconocimiento de problemas de salud, la creación de planes de atención y la evaluación de las respuestas del paciente.

Responsabilidades Clave:

  • Realizar evaluaciones clínicas detalladas, priorizar las necesidades del paciente y la familia, crear, implementar y evaluar planes de atención. Ajustar los planes para alcanzar los resultados deseados.
  • Construir relaciones, gestionar el malestar y mantener la profesionalidad en las conexiones terapéuticas con pacientes y familias.
  • Crear planes de atención que reflejen valores para ayudar a resolver problemas.
  • Educar a pacientes, familias, enfermeras y miembros de la comunidad para empoderarlos con conocimientos para mejores decisiones de salud. Evaluar y documentar las necesidades de aprendizaje regularmente.
  • Colaborar con colegas y la comunidad para crear un plan de atención, delegar tareas cuidadosamente y hacer un seguimiento oportuno.
  • Utilizar diferentes estrategias para la resolución de problemas con pacientes, familias y personal. Reconocer limitaciones y priorizar la seguridad, efectividad y eficiencia en la planificación y entrega de atención al paciente.
  • Lograr objetivos a través del trabajo en equipo, reconocer contribuciones y comprometerse con el crecimiento. Contribuir al desarrollo de los compañeros y mostrar compromiso con el servicio a la comunidad.

  • Una comprensión profunda de los estándares de atención y procedimientos de enfermería.
  • Conocimiento de las leyes, reglas, estándares y directrices de enfermería en tu área. Comprender los procedimientos y reglas del hospital.
  • Dominio de términos médicos, enfocándose en la salud, prevención de enfermedades, manejo, medicamentos comunes y sus efectos secundarios.
  • Respeto por la ética médica y profesional de enfermería y los derechos de privacidad del paciente.
  • Habilidades excepcionales de comunicación, que permiten la expresión clara de pensamientos tanto verbalmente como por escrito.
  • Excelentes habilidades sociales para facilitar interacciones con una amplia gama de partes.
  • Excelentes capacidades de resolución de problemas, impulsando un pensamiento crítico efectivo.
  • Habilidades básicas en computación, abarcando áreas como Microsoft Office, seguridad de la información, sistemas de programación y nómina, documentación médica electrónica y correo electrónico.

Calificaciones:

  • Graduación de un Programa Acreditado con un campo de estudio especializado en enfermería.
  • Licencia de enfermería actual y válida.
  • Debe tener certificación BLS o obtenerla dentro de los 30 días de comenzar en este rol.
  • Se requiere un mínimo de 1 año de experiencia como enfermero en UCI.
