Schedule: Full Time - Day Shift 7a-7p, 36 hours per week
Summary:
Our busy Emergency Room operates within a Level One Trauma Hospital, recognized as a Certified Chest Pain and Stroke Center. Our Registered Nurses (RNs) are skilled in managing Stroke and STEMI activations, adhering to established care protocols. This dynamic ER environment thrives on collaboration, featuring 50 examination rooms and 6 trauma bays. RNs work closely with Emergency Department Providers, Social Workers, and Registration teams, fostering a culture of teamwork.
The Emergency Department primarily serves adult patients, with pediatric care provided as necessary. Registered Nurses (RNs) have opportunities to engage in improvement initiatives, Shared Governance, departmental committees, and councils, ensuring that every voice is valued. This unit empowers staff to acquire new skills, enhance time management, and contribute to making emergency department experiences 'Better for Everyone.'

As a Registered Nurse, you will oversee patient care delivered by the healthcare team, utilizing a professional practice model. Your responsibilities encompass:

Candidate Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- A current and valid nursing license
- BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of starting
