Job Overview
As a Facilities Technician, Sr, you will play a critical role in maintaining the optimal functioning of our facilities. Your expertise in electromechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot and repair utilities and process equipment will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, organize, and prioritize work activities and duties to maintain facilities
• Inspect, repair, replace, service, and maintain existing electromechanical systems
• Conduct electrical systems conduit runs, including light and power circuits, motors, control equipment, light fixtures, and panels
• Understand and follow safety procedures, maintenance instructions, manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics, and assembly diagrams
• Ensure the safe usage and disposal of hazardous materials according to safety procedures and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
• Maintain necessary records/documents of work performed
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
• Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
• Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships, or the equivalent experience in a related field
• Years Experience: 2 years or more of relevant experience
Skills
• Working knowledge of electromechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems from established operating procedures and/or scientific methods
• Experience in working within a team environment and able to adapt to changes in work requirements
• Excellent customer service skills
