Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EVS Supervisor to join our team at Colonial Downs Group LLC. As an EVS Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of our EVS Attendants to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of our gaming floor, property venues, and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate EVS Activities
    • Oversee the daily activities of EVS Attendants to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of public areas.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
  • Inspect and Maintain Public Areas
    • Perform routine inspections of public areas to ensure they meet our high standards.
    • Identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Lead and Develop Team Members
    • Provide guidance and support to EVS Attendants to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team member performance.
  • Manage Supplies and Inventory
    • Order and manage supplies and inventory to ensure we have the necessary resources to maintain our facilities.
    • Monitor and control expenses to ensure we are operating within budget.
  • Respond to Guest Requests and Concerns
    • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns.
    • Work with other departments to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Generate Reports and Analyze Data
    • Generate shift reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Provide recommendations to management to improve operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role preferred.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Virginia Racing Commission License required.
    • Valid Driver's License with a minimum of three (3) years driving experience.

Working Conditions

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee is subjected to circulate throughout the assigned areas, including the smoking area, actively observing players and functioning of machines.
