Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at PPS-HPS. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our company's bills and accounts payable ledger.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, opening, and logging invoices on the ledger
  • Managing general ledger journal entries and credit card and bank account reconciliation
  • Preparing accounts payable invoices and handling payments in a timely manner
  • Preparing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets for accounts payable and other financial data
  • Performing internal credit card reconciliation and preparing sales and use tax returns
  • Ensuring imaging of invoice supporting documents is timely and accurately performed
  • Assisting with audit support and streamlining the accounts payable process
  • Working with account receivable clerks and others to resolve account issues
  • Handling expense reports and other financial tasks

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
  • Understanding of payments, accounting, and budgeting principles
