We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team at PPS-HPS, a thriving 47-year-old business with recent acquisitions. As an established privately owned company committed to growth, we are looking for a candidate with the ambition and experience to recognize, analyze and work through the day-to-day business and accounting functions and activities.

This is a full-time position with paid overtime, offering significant growth potential and a clear career path leading to roles such as Controller and eventually CFO. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis, as well as experience working with FACTOR, PDI, or similar ERP software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with oversight of financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and controls.
  • Prepare financial statements timely and present them to management.
  • Responsible for the audit/verification of all company expenses, including trade payables, employee reimbursements, and asset purchases.
  • Manage and maintain a monthly accounting close process.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Accounting, OR experience as a Controller OR experience in a similar financial role.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance, and audit processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience in data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Compensation: $60k - $75k based on experience.
