Main Responsibilities

As a Field Service Technician III at Ring Power Corporation, you will be responsible for conducting all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental, and contamination control policies, procedures, and regulations. You will wear proper personal protective equipment and maintain a high awareness of applicable technical changes in the industry.

You will be required to attend and successfully complete required technician training classes and maintain a necessary set of tools required for job performance to diagnose, disassemble, and assemble components to manufacturer's specifications.

Additionally, you will perform designated repairs on customer or company-owned equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair with lower-level troubleshooting. You will work in a neat and orderly fashion, constantly looking for ways to improve methods of work, work area, and safety standards.

You will also inspect components to ensure maximum parts are being reused to control repair costs, complete required documentation utilizing appropriate software to document repairs performed on equipment, and account for repair times. Furthermore, you will monitor job expenses versus repair estimates and ensure that the supervisor is aware of any cost overrun prior to the job being completed.

Finally, you will approach work in a positive manner, maintain conduct that is supportive of the work team, and set the standard for others to follow. You will contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks on time while maintaining safety and quality expectations.

Key Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or GED

Experience: 1-2 years

Skills: Proficient in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products, and relevant Dealer software programs

Responsibilities: Problem-solving, creativity, autonomy, and working in a team environment

Work Environment: Occasional exposure to stress, workload fluctuation, and working in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, sitting, walking, feeling, fingering, grasping, repetitive motion, talking, hearing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and working in various environmental conditions
