Collections Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team at Brookfield Properties. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for resolving resident accounts and ensuring timely payment of rent and fees.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to resident inquiries and resolve account discrepancies in a professional and courteous manner.
- Negotiate payment plans and accept payments from residents to ensure timely resolution of accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex account issues and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or collections; property management experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
