We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Oncology Nursing Coordinator to join our team at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan, part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have 2 years of Oncology or Medical Surgical Tele/Ortho acute care hospital nursing experience and be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas or a Compact State. Charge Nurse or Nurse Supervisor acute care hospital nursing experience is highly preferred.

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other members of the management team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
